This is very basic thing, but I wanted to share this as still many people find it difficult to show line numbers in word documents. Earlier we’ve seen how to count words in word documents. By default  word document doesn’t show the line numbers.

Many people are not much familiar with the term ‘Tablet PC” because of its limited popularity till today. Keep in mind, Tablet PC is altogether different from eReaders like Amazon Kindle or B&N Nook. But Tablet concept expected to rise once major players will come into the picture, like Microsoft, Apple etc. Microsoft is planning to launch ‘Courier Tablet PC’ and Apple will be releasing ‘iPad Mac Tablet’. Both are expected to come in market in mid-2010. Few Tablet PC manufacturers are already in this business like Acer, HP, LG, IBM, and Panasonic.

15 consecutive months of losses in Microsoft’s Online Services Division. This quarter sucked more $480 million. But Bing’s growing market share seems a golden line behind the clouds (Real Clouds!!!)

Counting words, lines and characters in Microsoft Word is quite an easy task. We will see how to count in both Word 2003 and Word 2007 versions, as both versions do this in slightly different manner.

10 year old Google’s cash flow pulling away from 100 year old biggest media company Time Warner. Google’s free cash flow coming in at $2.5 billion for the quarter. It’s still not close to Microsoft.
