Great list! I travel a lot throughout the winter months and am in desperate need of some new apps to add to my iPad, so I definitely appreciate the read! I spend a lot of time in airports, train stations and bus stations usually dying for a little bit of entertainment, so a lot of these will definitely help. I really like the idea of the Optical Illusion, 10,500+ Cool Facts and Crackle apps. They sound like a lot of fun; especially the Crackle app. There is one app that I have on my iPad right now that I use mainly to kill time in my travels, that I think would make an excellent addition to your list. I got it free in the market from my TV provider and employer DISH Network. It’s called DISH Remote Access and by itself isn’t much of a time killer, but if you also have a Sling Adapter from DISH setup at home, you can use that app to watch all of your subscribed programming anywhere. I like it because live TV will come through as well as my recorded events I already have at home. I can use my 3G data plan on my iPad or free Wi-Fi in the airport anywhere I am and it works just fine. It’s definitely the most beneficial time killer for me since I don’t have to miss any of my favorite shows or movies now just because I’m out of town. I even got the Sling Adapter free since it’s on a free limited time promotion, so now it’s totally worth recommending. Thanks again for your ideas!
