Google is sending out new year wishes emails to its adword users, it seems (As I’ve not received any such email for my other normal gmail accounts). And it’s not just wishes, for what I had to write a post, but it’s $20 million (￡12.4 million) in charities for 25 projects run by NGOs around the world. I think the better part of this is, larger number of people will come to know about these projects because Google is helping them. For example, I just came to knew about 2 such projects in India; Prajwala ( A project against woman and children trafficking) and Pratham (Pratham is the largest non governmental organization working to provide quality education to the underprivileged children of India). If you can’t help these people in need directly, at least you can spread the word about them. I’m doing my part . Don’t forget to visit this page.
