With the help of safe-search feature on Google search, you can moderate what your kid searches and sees on the net. Internet is full of such content and while searching on google, such results keep popping up in image search or web search. Before this locking safesearch feature, smart kids can turn-off the safe search and find the explicit content. But with the new feature of Locking SafeSearch, Google has made search more strict and out of reach of your kid for any explicit content.
How Locking SafeSearch Works?
Login to your google account. Via ‘Settings’, turn on the safe-search (see the video below for full description). Once this feature is turned on via your account, it only can be turned off through your account. So your smart kids won’t be able to turn-off the safe search and hence won’t be able to search for explicit content on the net.
If safesearch locking is turned on, you will see image with colored balls on your google search page. So even from far distances like in other room, you can keep watch on what your kids are searching.
If you have more than one account on your computer or laptop like ‘Me’, ‘My Cat’ and ‘My Ex’ 
, you will have to turn on the safe search locking feature for each account separately.
Finally, even if the safesearch is on, it’s no way substitute of adult supervision.
