webuzz-logoWeBuzz.im is a web-based IM for Gtalk, MSN, AIM, AOL, ICQ and Yahoo messenger. You don’t need to download any messengers. It’s a JavaScript based online free web instant messenger that helps you chat with your friends on Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, ICQ or Jabber/XMPP. There are situations when you need to use more than one IM services, and webuzz.im is best suitable for that. Even in offices, where IM clients are not available, WeBuzz is of great help.

All you need is, a JavaScript enabled modern browser, like Firefox 3.0+ (Recommended), Chrome, IE 6.0+, Opera 9.0+ or Safari 3.1+. You can use WeBuzz.IM anywhere, Windows/Linux PC, Mac, home or office behind firewall.

Earlier the description text on the background was making the experience cluttered. But as per latest update from WeBuzz team, users will be able to hide description text to make WeBuzz.im background more cleaner. Also you can hide logo panel in messenger to accommodate more friends in the list. You can read this update in more detail in their blog post More Room For Chatting.

    Hi John,
I’ve same doubts as you. The site is very well known. But built by Chinese founders!!!
I’ll personally mail them about how secure their system is. Also we need to inquire the
same with Google and other services. Will update the info.

We are from WeBuzz.IM. Sorry for only seeing the above doubt here years later.

WeBuzz.IM has no intention to steal passwords. Providing years of services for about a million users can be a side proving. Password is not saved on server. If you see password being remembered, it is remembered on your browser side (in cookie or HTML5 local storage ). We encrypt passwords in RSA for security consideration.

BTW: WeBuzz.IM now has a new UI layout and a new name on KarooLark web messenger ( http://karoolark.com/ ).
